About us:

Pilgrim Discount is an independent, owner operated store with 14-19 staff members. We began in 1980 with about 200 square feet and are now the largest Christian Bookstore in Oregon. With over 50,000 volumes in stock, Pilgrim discount is actually three bookstores under one roof (see below). If you love Christian books, make a note to visit us the next time you're in the Pacific Northwest.

Our New Bookstore has thousands of volumes including Bibles, Commentaries, Language Aids and Study Guides as well as Christian Living, Parenting, Children and Fiction. We began listing our New Bookstore on this web site in 2005 and plan to continue adding items on a regular basis.

We believe our Used Bookstore of over 18,000 volumes ranks in the Top 10 of Christian Used Bookstores in the country. Several Used Book Dealers actually shop our shelves for their own stores. Our commentary and reference sections draw bibliophiles from hundreds of miles away. Many people even include our Used Bookstore as part of their regular vacation itinerary. Please Note: The Used Books listed on this web site are exclusive. Used Books on the web site are not available in the store and vice versa. Our goal is to maintain at least 1,000 used books on our web site.

Our Outlet Bargain Room fluctuates between 14,000 & 18,000 volumes. These are new books which publishers unload at deep discounts. Some are returns from other stores and have old price labels on them and some may be a little shelf worn. Most are in brand new, mint condition and simply being sold off to make room for other books in their warehouses. Most are discounted 40% - 60% off retail prices. Some a little less. Many at 70% - 90% Off! Most of our Bargain Books are listed on this site.
